Skiing and Snowboarding at Telluride Ski Resort

The Telluride Ski experience combines the elegance of refined groomed runs with the challenge of black diamond moguls to offer an exceptional time for everyone.

With blue hills like Woosley’s Way at the top of the mountain and green rides like Galloping Goose a little further down, all levels of skiers, from beginner to advanced, will enjoy the highest peaks and views normally reserved for the experts as there is quality terrain for a variety of levels at most points on the mountain.

Telluride Ski resort includes over 2,000 acres of skiable terrain. Their longest run, the Galloping Goose, is 4.6 miles long! They have 127 total trails, split into Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. To reach these trails, they provide 18 total lifts, including 2 high-speed gondolas. The average annual snowfall to the resort is 309 inches.

The Telluride Ski Resort offers Ski & Snowboarding School too, with one of the most complete natural progressions offered at any resort. The terrain provides every level skier and snowboarder ample opportunity to ski and ride in comfort and take it to the next level.

The resort also includes 3 terrain parks:

  • Ute Park Terrain Park for Beginner to Intermediate Skiers and Snowboarders. The beginner line includes rollers, bank turns, a mini half pipe, small jumps, and ride on/off boxes and rails. And the intermediate line includes 5’ – 15’ jumps, rails, boxes, and some non-traditional features such as barrels, and logs.
  • Hoot Brown Intermediate Terrain Park for High-Intermediate users has Wall rides, 10-20' jumps, rails, boxes, barrel rolls, cannons, close outs, and more.
  • Hoot Brown Advanced Terrain Park for Advanced users has around 25 features including a jump line of four progressive jumps ranging from 25’ to 50’. Key features include the Pick Ax Rail, C Box, Hitching Post, Whale Tail, Rainbow Rails, Elbow Rails, Down Flat Down, and so much more.
