Special Adventure Packages Brought to You by Hotel Telluride
Spring and Summer
Spring and Summer
The classically rugged Wilson Peak, at 14,017 ft., is the signature symbol for the San Juan Mountains and the inspiration for the mountain graphic that was used on Coors Banquet and is still used on the Coors Light packaging. The annual, exclusive ‘Crack a Coors on Wilson Peak’ package, available from July 12 – September 16, 2021, is an ideal package for the adventure seeker who is looking for an alpine challenge.
Guests will be picked up from the hotel in the early morning and chauffeured to the trailhead. Considered a challenging day climb (the trail encompasses Class 3 and Class 4 sections) participants must be physically fit to ascend. Guests will be guided to the summit of Wilson Peak where they will enjoy a packed lunch. Upon completion of hiking Wilson Peak, guests will have the opportunity to crack open their choice of a Coors Banquet or Coors Light. A perfect photo opportunity, guests are encouraged to snapshots and post to social media using #CrackaCoors, toasting with their Coors at this iconic mountain.
Back at The Hotel Telluride as part of the package, weary hikers can each rejuvenate with a 60-minute spa treatment (choice of massage or facial) during their stay. The Hotel Telluride also offers two outdoor hot tubs to further relax any sore muscles while soaking in the mountain views.
